Recruitment firm shows staff appreciation

Professional services recruitment firm Sellick Partnership has once again marked Employee Appreciation Day by giving all its staff the day off.

Earlier this month, the firm, which has a base in Derby, gave teams across the company the day off as a ‘thank you’ for their efforts.

It is the third consecutive year that Sellick has made the gesture. Previously, the company celebrated Employee Appreciation Day by allowing staff to finish early and enjoy lunch on the business.

The company, which has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing by Great Place to Work UK, described this as an opportunity to “make sure that each and every employee feels cared for and appreciated”.

Hannah Cottam, Sellick’s chief executive, said: “We have had an exciting start to 2025, building on the success of the last year with continued investment and ambitious growth plans.

“None of this would be possible without our incredible people.
