Cricket club to host big name tribute shows

Derbyshire County Cricket Club has announced it will be hosting back-to-back concerts headlined by Oasis and Taylor Swift tribute acts.

Tickets are set to go sale for the concerts, which are due to take place at The County Ground in June.

Oasis96 is considered to be the ultimate Oasis tribute band and will perform some of the band’s greatest hits, while supported by premier acts performing the music of Sam Fender, Kasabian and The Killers on Friday 13 June.

Taylor Swift tribute act Fearlessly Taylor will headline on Saturday 14 June, with support from acts for Little Mix, The Spice Girls and Dua Lipa.

The County Ground is renowned as one of the Midlands hottest live event venues, having hosted the likes of Elton John, Michael Bublé, The Who and D-Block Europe in recent years.

The priority window for tickets to this summer’s tribute shows will open on Monday 24 February.
