Train operator named ‘top employer’ again

East Midlands Railway is celebrating after being recognised as one of the country’s top employers for the ninth year in a row.

The train operator has been included in the 2025 Top Employers, with certification awarded to outstanding employers committed to people-oriented practice.

The Top Employers Institute programme certifies organisations based on the participation in and results of  its HR Best Practices Survey.

The survey covers areas including people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, diversity, equality and inclusion, wellbeing, and more.
