Firm announces new partnership with water charity

Test and measurement firm Devtank has teamed up with a Derbyshire-based charity which helps provide life-saving clean water and aid to communities in need around the globe.

The firm, which is based in Etwall Road, near Mickleover, has announced it has become a corporate sponsor with AquaBox.

As part of the collaboration, Dvetank’s OpenSmartMonitor brand will transition to a monthly subscription model this year, with a portion of profits from each solution sold donated to the Wirksworth charity every month.

Devtank’s army of volunteers manufacture family water filters in-house using a highly efficient process, enabling them to deliver these life-saving devices to disaster-stricken regions worldwide.

Aquabox’s aid extends beyond clean water. Each box includes essentials like tools, pots, pans, blankets, and more.

In some cases, it provides community boxes equipped with water filters capable of serving entire communities, ensuring sustainable access to clean water while reducing the risks of waterborne diseases such as cholera, typhoid and polio.
