Animal charity’s plea for storage space
RSPCA Derby is appealing to fellow Marketing Derby Bondholders who might be able to offer storage space to keep stock for its charity shop.
The self-funded animal rehoming charity is searching for a storage unit, unused room, garage, outbuilding or similar, near Belper.
Lesley Kennedy, the charity’s retail manager, said “Our charity shops are vital for raising money to help the hundreds of animals we take in every year, and we need this storage space so our Belper shop can continue offering a fantastic selection of pre-loved goods to the local community.
“We’ve got to move everything out of our current storage space by 16 January, so we’ve not got long to find somewhere.
“We appreciate that it is a big ask, but if anyone can offer us a space for free or at a reduced rate, we would be incredibly grateful and would thank you for your generosity with posts on our social media pages and website.”
