A boss at Fortitude Nicsa Global has been included in a list which recognises UK leaders who are reshaping global IT support.

Katy Upton, chief executive at IT solutions provider FNG, has been named one of the ‘Ones to Watch’ in the LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders programme, in partnership with The Times.

This list celebrates entrepreneurs who are revolutionising business practices to meet the demands of the rapidly evolving world.

Under Katy’s leadership, FNG has emerged as the IT partner of choice for businesses spanning 160 countries.

With multilingual hubs strategically located across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and America, FNG provides comprehensive, round-the-clock IT support and maintenance.

Katy said she hoped her inclusion in the Top 50 would shine a spotlight on the critical need for diversity in an industry traditionally dominated by men.

She said: “Being recognised among the UK’s most ambitious business leaders is truly humbling.

“This accolade not only reflects our team’s dedication to reshaping global IT support but also sends a powerful message to aspiring female leaders in tech: your ambitions have no limits.

“We’re proving that innovation knows no gender, and the future of technology is diverse.”

The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders programme, a cornerstone initiative by LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group, celebrates the UK’s most ambitious business leaders who are driving their companies forward in exciting new ways.

This year’s ‘Ones to Watch’ category specifically highlights emerging talents poised to make significant impacts in their respective industries.

John Garner, managing partner at LDC, said: “The inspiring leaders featured in our ‘Ones to Watch’ category are driving positive change and innovation across their industries.

“We’re proud to recognise visionaries like Katy Upton, who are not only excelling in their fields but also paving the way for greater diversity in the tech sector.”
