Bondholders shortlisted for ‘rainmaker’ awards

The shortlist for the inaugural East Midlands Rainmakers Awards has been revealed – with a number of Marketing Derby Bondholders named as finalists.

Organised by TheBusinessDesk, the awards celebrate the corporate finance individuals and teams responsible for the top deals of the year.

Flint Bishop is shortlisted for Legal Team of the Year while LDC is a finalist in the VC/Private Equity Team of the Year category.

LDC’s David Bains is also up for individual honours after being shortlisted in the coveted Rainmaker of the Year category.

Dains is shortlisted in both the Small Deal of the Year (up to £10m) and Medium Deal of the Year (£10m-£50m) categories.

Also up for Small Deal of the Year is the team behind the acquisition of Horsley Lodge Golf Club, which includes Geldards.

The winners will be announced at a celebration event in Nottingham on 21 November.
