Firm launches tree-mendous initiative

Audio-visual solutions firm The Conference Works has announced an initiative which will boost the environment.

The firm, which provides its services to the conference and events industry, has launched One Event, One Tree, One Planet.

It means that for every event the business supports it will plant a tree.

Director Peter Cook said: “We are constantly exploring ways to reduce waste, conserve energy, and operate in an eco-friendly manner.

“From using energy-efficient equipment to minimising travel emissions by embracing virtual and hybrid event formats, we take our environmental responsibility seriously.

“By planting a tree for every event we are helping the environment in a small way.”
