Derby Museums launches new network

Derby Museums has launched a new business networking group to help support world-class cultural experiences in the city.

The Derby Museums Business Network aims to create a vibrant community, demonstrate commitment to education, cultural enrichment and build skills for the future.

The recent launch was attended by a number of supporters, including His Grace the Duke of Devonshire and Elizabeth Fothergill CBE, who is chair of trustees at Derby Museums.

The network’s founding members include Wavensmere Homes, Vaillant, Rolls-Royce, Circulayo, Fulton Partnership, Morley Hayes, Cosy Direct and Leonardo Hotels.

Elizabeth said: “Our museums are vital centres for education and lifelong learning. They allow people to see themselves as makers, as engineers and creatives.

“By joining the network, you will be helping to encourage creativity, to enhance the quality of life for residents and tourists, by keeping these tremendous museums vibrant, innovative, dynamic and open for all to enjoy.”
