Meal delivery box firm reveals top pumpkin picks

Meal delivery box firm HelloFresh has revealed its anticipated ranking of the UK’s best places to pick your own pumpkin in the run up to Halloween.

The list analysed more than 30 pumpkin patches across the country, awarding scores based on various factors such as Google ratings, admission prices, social media followers, and the chance of rain.

According to the 2024 list, two East Midlands locations have made it into the top 10, with Cattows Farm, in Leicestershire, placed fourth and Mr Pumpkin, in Derby, placed eighth.

Experts at HelloFresh, which has a large presence at SmartParc SEGRO Derby, have also compiled a list of patches across the UK with free entry for those looking for a family-friendly day out without breaking the bank.

Once the pumpkins have been picked, HelloFresh is encouraging families to try out some of its pumpkin recipes to help reduce household food waste.
