Appetite grows for Becky’s food education workshops

The founder of food education and awareness business SimpliciB is celebrating after recently expanding its customer base.

Becky Brown’s award-winning firm delivers food workshops to businesses to help boost the wellbeing of staff.

Recently, Becky has welcomed new bookings from Derby and Burton Hospitals NHS Trust and Gayton Junior School, in Derby.

She said: “I’m absolutely thrilled with these latest bookings.

“As we are all aware, hospitals are extremely busy, fast-paced environments – so eating well is essential. I have been asked to deliver three different workshops for the various NHS staff.

“And I am also looking forward to talking to the teachers and parents at Gayton.

“To have this opportunity to help people who influence children’s eating habits is a business dream come true.”

The idea for SimpliciB began during lockdown, when Becky began using social media to share recipe ideas and help prevent panic buying.

It was from this she realised there was a business opportunity, helping people understand food, buying and eating habits, allowing them to make better choices.

Since then, Becky has been delivering her Food and Mood workshops to a range of businesses.
