Nelsons, Circulayo, Clowes Developments and Document Network Services are among the latest Marketing Derby Bondholders to announce new appointments in recent weeks.

Law firm Nelsons has appointed Amanda Voakes, a highly experienced private client solicitor, to its wills and probate team.

She has made the move from Chattertons Solicitors and Wealth Management after five years with the firm, most recently as head of the private client department.

Prior to this, she spent seven years at Langleys Solicitors, as well as working for Shakespeare Martineau and Roythornes.

She said: “Moving to Nelsons has been a big step, and one I felt I was ready to take to really make my mark.

“I knew of the firm having been in Nottingham before and felt that now was the right time to take a new path working with a smaller team that I could really get to know and support, particularly the more junior members of the team.

“With Nelsons becoming part of Lawfront last year, it’s been great to see the exciting steps it is taking and really showcases it as a forward-thinking firm.”

Circulayo, a smart technology company dedicated to reducing single-use plastic waste, has announced the addition of two new brand ambassadors.

Former professional footballer and coach John Spencer has come on board to inspire sports fans and the wider public to take actionable steps towards sustainability both within the UK and globally.

Meanwhile, Hugo Valdes-Vera, the founder of Think Ocean and sustainability activist, has also become an ambassador.

Hugo’s efforts to eliminate plastic pollution have taken him and Think Ocean worldwide.

His organisation has been contributing to promoting ocean conservation, advocating sustainable practices and educating new generations.

In a statement, Circulayo said: “By welcoming John Spencer and Hugo Valdes-Vera, Circulayo is set to expand its reach and influence.

“The combined efforts of these new ambassadors will undoubtedly support Circulayo’s efforts to create a plastic-free future.”

Clowes Developments has further strengthened its team through the appointment of Jenny McCrea, a graduate from Nottingham Trent University.

Jenny applied for the graduate surveyor position at Clowes in line with finishing her degree in Property Development and Planning where she obtained a 2:1.

Jenny will be working with the land and planning and development team in a hybrid role giving her a unique insight into both departments.

Tom Morley, surveyor in the land and planning team, said: “We are delighted to welcome Jenny to the team.

“She will be supporting two departments, which are closely linked in the lifecycle of a typical Clowes project.

“Namely, she will be assisting on the delivery of a brand-new site, Pleasley Hill in Mansfield, along with progressing existing sites through planning and onwards.”

Finally, Document Network Services has promoted Hugh Sutherland to the role of sales director.

Hugh originally joined the DNS team in 2011 and quickly became known for his specialisation in production print.

Since then, he has gained extensive expertise in IT and cybersecurity.

In his new role, he will continue to lead on DNS’s sales, business development and marketing.

Darren Marsh, managing director at DNS, said: “As both a colleague and a friend, I am thrilled to announce Hugh’s promotion to sales director at DNS.

“Over the last 13 years, I have witnessed first-hand his incredible dedication, vast expertise and unwavering passion for the company.

“This promotion is a testament to Hugh’s remarkable contributions over the years and I would like to wholeheartedly thank him for all that he does.”
