Law firm continues its innings with cricket club
Nelsons has announced it will continue its role as the official legal services partner for Derbyshire County Cricket Club for another year.
The law firm has agreed to extend the partnership for another year. The company first partnered with the cricket club in 2014, making 2021 the seventh consecutive year of the partnership.
Stewart Vandermark, chief executive at Nelsons, said: “We’ve been the legal services partner for the club for several years.
“Being able to renew our partnership for another year so we can continue to support the club as it goes from strength to strength is fantastic, particularly after such a testing year.
“Continuing with our partnership shows our commitment to the city and county and emphasises how important it is to us to forge and maintain strong working bonds with businesses and communities across the region.”
Ryan Duckett, chief executive at Derbyshire County Cricket Club, said: “Having the opportunity to work alongside an award-winning firm such as Nelsons has been fantastic. We’re thrilled to have renewed our partnership with them.
“Nelsons became a member of our 1870 Business Club in 2013, then a partner the following year and its commitment to the club has been fantastic ever since.”
