FHP secures brace of new deals
FHP Property Consultants is reporting high demand for industrial/warehouse accommodation in Derby after securing a brace of new deals – with more in the pipeline.
The firm has recently let a until at Prime Industrial Park, in Shaftesbury Street, to Genie Care Services – the second letting at the site within a matter of weeks.
It has followed up this deal by securing a five-year lease with Herons Pet World for a unit in Cranmer Road, at West Meadows Industrial Estate.
Darran Severn, from FHP, said that current demand for good quality industrial/warehouse accommodation in the city was “unprecedented”.
Speaking about the letting at Prime Industrial Park, he said: “It’s great to get another deal across the line at Prime Industrial Park and this will be followed by three more lettings with Units, 3, 9 and 10 also under offer.
“Due to the unprecedented demand at present, we have been able to increase rents by 50p per square foot.”
