Housebuilder starts work on two new schemes

Housebuilder Chevin Homes has started work on two new schemes in Derby.

It has started building its Manor Farm scheme at Mickleover, which, once completed, will feature nine individual three- and four-bedroom barn conversions, contemporary bungalows and houses.

Designed by Matthew Montague Architects, the properties, which are being created at the former farm in the heart of Mickleover, will be arranged around the farmyard.

Elsewhere, Chevin has also started on site at The Beeches, in Allestree.

A small exclusive development off Kedleston Road, the scheme will feature five homes, comprising two houses and three bungalows.

Dan Stack, director at Chevin, said: “Both developments have started on site and the first properties will be ready to move into from the end of the year.”
