Triple pregnancies lead to birth of new service

A spate of pregnancies at Loates HR Consultancy has led the firm to develop a new service for local businesses.

The firm has launched Loates HR Interim, a one-stop service for businesses that require temporary cover for their human resource teams.

The idea was born from a recent flurry of pregnancies among the team at Loates, which has seen new arrivals in March and April and another due in August.

Director Sarah Loates said: “Although these are exciting times for the team, as a business owner, I realised that finding quality interim resources can be challenging, especially for HR roles.

“This led me to develop an offer that provides a speedy, thorough, and seamless process for businesses requiring interim HR.

“We understand the stress and uncertainty that can come with temporary HR cover needs, and our service is designed to alleviate that, providing a reliable solution when you need it most.

“We know exactly what HR interims need to be able to do because we are active HR professionals ourselves, and not generic recruiters.

“This allows us to provide employers with the reassurance that our HR interims will be able to ‘walk the talk’ and hit the ground running.”

An early beneficiary of this new service has been Abi Bramley, HR manager at Riverside Medical Packaging, in Derby, who is also expecting her first baby.

She said: “We recently engaged Loates HR Interim to recruit an interim to cover my maternity leave.

“As a standalone HR manager, it has been a relief to secure my replacement, and the whole process has been handled efficiently and quickly with minimal input from me.”
