Derbyshire Wildlife Trust is celebrating after being featured in the annual Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024.

The Sunday Times Best Places to Work Awards, powered by WorkL, recognise organisations which have consistently high levels of employee experience and wellbeing in the UK.

To enter, employees take part in a survey of 26 questions which rank organisations in six key areas: reward and recognition, information sharing, empowerment, wellbeing, instilling pride, and job satisfaction.

To make the list, each company must achieve a minimum response rate (based on its size) and be ranked above 70% by its own workforce.

Dr Jo Smith, chief executive of Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, said: “I am absolutely thrilled that we have been named as one of the best places to work in The Sunday Times list, just weeks after being shortlisted as an industry trailblazer by the Living Wage Foundation.

“We are investing in culture and inclusion at the trust, and we want to continue to improve on the progress we have already made to enable our people to get the most from their role and ultimately achieve more for Derbyshire’s wildlife.”
