Rail Forum announces export partner
Rail Forum, which represents rail-related companies and organisations, has announced the identity of its export partner.
Global Centre of Rail Excellence (GCRE) will be the form’s export partner for 2024-25.
With growing international opportunities and world-leading rail capability across its membership, Rail Forum has now launched enhanced exporting support.
With 50% of its members as current or potential exporters, the forum anticipates strong interest in developing international growth and partnership opportunities.
Together with GCRE, the forum’s recently launched Export Steering Group is developing initiatives to promote the extensive export capability of the UK rail supply chain and bring members and international opportunities together. The steering group’s members include AtkinsRéalis.
Catherine Appleby, membership and engagement director at Rail Forum, said: “We’re delighted to welcome GCRE as our export partner and value their support and engagement.
“We recognise our role as an important instrument to support members’ international journeys and facilitate access to wider support, funding, opportunities as well as our own export community.”
