Double Award Nominations at Flint Bishop

Rob Tice, Head of Employment Law at Flint Bishop

The largest independent law firm in the region and Marketing Derby Bondholder, Flint Bishop, has received two prestigious nominations recently for its outstanding work.

Firstly, the firm was nominated for the award for 'Legal Advisors to Education Institutions' in this year's Education Investor Awards.

The awards are organised by the Education Investor magazine which has been around for almost 70 years and recognises excellence in five categories: advisory, education infrastructure, education providers, suppliers and the grand-prix, which covers mixed awards, including an outstanding contribution award.

Ben Lawson, Associate at Flint Bishop

Next, one of Flint Bishop's newly promoted Associates, Ben Lawson, has been nominated for 'Family Law Young Solicitor of the Year' at the Family Law Awards.

Ben qualified in 2011 and has since proved himself to be one of the most well regarded solicitors in the region. Ben acts within all areas of Family Law and does much of his own advocacy. He is a mentor at the University of Derby, Chair of Derby Junior Lawyers and plays an active role in the community where he currently lectures students who are looking to get into the profession.
