Conveyancing specialist reports stellar month

Conveyancing firm SortRefer, which is part of the Sort Group has reported record-breaking figures.

Despite the recent uncertainty in the property market, February was the third best month in the company’s 15-year history in terms of overall instructions.

During the same month, it also recorded the highest ever number of instructions for its ‘Surveys’ product.

In addition to its strong financial performance, the company was named Conveyancer of the Year at the recent Moneyage Mortgage Awards 2024, which celebrate exceptional performance and innovation within the UK mortgage industry.

Kevin Tunnicliffe, chief executive of SortRefer, who himself has been shortlisted for Business Leader: Conveyancer at the British Specialist Lending Awards 2024, said: “We are thrilled with our fantastic start to the year, both in terms of revenues and numbers of instructions, especially given the unpredictability of the marketplace.
