Becky on the awards trail again

The founder of food education and awareness business SimpliciB has been shortlisted for a top regional award.

Becky Brown has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Woman in Professional Services Award for the East Midlands in The Women’s Awards 2024.

Her category recognises women who have worked within the professional services industry for more than three years and have provided exceptional and outstanding services to their clients in the past 12 months.

Earlier this year, Becky was named Most Dedicated Food Consultant 2024 (Derbyshire) at the Business Elite Awards, which shine a light on SMEs who have excelled in their field, providing the best products and services to clients.

And last year, Becky was shortlisted in the Business Owner/s of the Year category at the National Businesswomen’s Awards.

Becky’s firm delivers food workshops to businesses as part of employee wellbeing.

It began during lockdown, using social media to share recipe ideas and help prevent panic buying.

It was from this that Becky realised there was a business opportunity, helping people understand food, buying and eating habits, allowing them to make better choices.

The Women’s Awards will take place in the autumn on a date to be confirmed.
