Law firm advises on sale to US company

Geldards has advised on a deal which saw a translation specialist sold to a US-based firm.

The law firm’s corporate team advised the shareholders of industry language specialist Balthasar Ltd on its sale to Trustpoint.One, one of the largest providers of integrated legal services in America.

Founded in 2000, Balthasar provides language services to industry, specialising in the HVAC and Renewables sectors, using state-of-the-art technology to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

The acquisition by Trustpoint.One is the latest in a series of acquisitions as part of the firm’s continued commitment to growth and innovation in the language industry.

Geldards’ corporate team, led by senior associate Manjot Shokar, advised the shareholders of Balthasar on all aspects of the sale, assisted by tax partner Andrew Evans who advised on the tax elements of the sale.
