Accountancy firm acquires tax specialist

Dains Accountants has announced the acquisition of a public sector and not-for-profit VAT and employment tax specialist.

The accountancy and advisory firm has bought PSTAX, which was founded 20 years ago by Peter Gladdish.

Richard McNeilly, chief executive at Dains, said ‘PSTAX and more latterly S3TAX, which was launched in 2022, have developed a fantastic proposition for clients, which blends helpline support and training with first-class consultancy advice.
