Partners sought for green refuelling hub
Derby City Council is seeking partners to help deliver a new large-scale ‘mobility hub’ offering clean refuelling.
The primary purpose of the new hub will be to allow users, both residential and commercial, access to a variety of clean, green fuels.
The council has identified a potential site and now wants to hear from the market their views on what could be developed.
To start this conversation, it has opened a pre-procurement questionnaire and responses will be used to help shape the future procurement.
In a statement, the council said: “We want to make a step-change in our carbon reduction and the availability of clean fuel in our city and region.
“We believe that this is a really exciting opportunity with a lot of potential and hope that we get a great response from organisations and businesses that share our ambition.”

The deadline for responses is 27 September.
