David makes list of top investment leaders

The regional head of private equity firm LDC has been named on an influential list of top investment leaders.

David Bains, partner and head of the East Midlands and East of England at LDC, which is part of the Lloyds Banking Group, has been included on the latest Real Deals Future 40 Investment Leaders list.

David is featured for leading his team in exiting two partnerships with Forest Holidays and IT and cyber services provider Littlefish.

Under his stewardship, LDC realised its investment in Forest Holidays through a merger with Sykes Holiday Cottages.

During the 10-year partnership, Forest Holidays achieved impressive growth, doubling its enterprise value and investing hundreds of millions in Britain’s forests.

And during LDC’s three-year investment in Littlefish, the IT firm nearly doubled its revenues. LDC’s exit to Bowmark Capital generated “exceptional returns”.
