Doughnut firm opens in Derbion

Derbion has welcomed the arrival of an award-winning doughnut company to the retail and leisure destination.

Doughnotts has opened a brand-new kiosk on Level 1 of the centre – joining an impressive line-up of food and drink brands, including recent arrivals Popeyes, Burger & Sauce and Mexican street-food brand Tortilla.

The company was established by co-directors Wade Smith and Megan Scaddan in 2015 after the pair decided to make some doughnuts at home in Megan’s mums’ kitchen, using ingredients costing just £10 and a wok.

Over the past eight years, Doughnotts has grown and the new Derbion kiosk is its 10th branch.

According to Derbion, more new kiosk arrivals will be announced over the coming weeks.
