Changes for Clowes

Bondholder Clowes Development has a new name and look, and has announced the appointment of a new Marketing Manager.

The company’s recent rebrand and name change from CWC Group to Clowes Developments has created a new visual identity along with a brand position of ‘bringing opportunity to life’.

The evolution of the brand underlines the company’s historic roots and widespread recognition as a ‘Clowes’ business. The new name and look reflect the position of the business as a national development, asset management and land acquisition and promotion company.

It comes as the Derbyshire-based company recorded record-breaking financial results for the last financial year (2018-19) in which turnover climbed to £116 million and profit surpassed £39 million.

Chairman of Clowes Developments, David Clowes, said: “We are a company created in the image of our founder, my father Charles Clowes: fiercely independent and principled and with a commitment to always doing the right thing. Likewise, our new brand is much more than just a new logo; it goes to the heart of our history and reflects our whole approach to doing business. It also keeps our CWC roots in a new hallmark explaining our founding in 1964.

Clowes Developments has appointed Kate Henderson as its new Marketing Manager with immediate effect. Kate joins Clowes Developments from Else Solicitors where she was Head of Marketing. Kate spent her earlier career at fellow Bondholder Geldards and has built up several years’ experience in professional services marketing with expertise in establishing in-house marketing functions.
