Derby Property Summit thanks its partners
The Derby Property Summit would like to thank its partners for helping to make this year’s event such a success.
Firstly, our thanks go to main event partner Bowmer + Kirkland.
Headquartered in Derbyshire, the firm is one of the UK’s largest and most successful family-owned construction and development groups.
Over the past five years alone, the company, which this year celebrates its centenary, has secured projects with a value of almost £3 billion.
In Derby, it has delivered a number of key buildings, including Derby Arena and the Moorways Sports Village.
Today, the Bowmer + Kirkland Group now comprises 27 companies, most of which are construction related.
Phil Ellis, divisional director at Bowmer + Kirkland, said: “We were very pleased to be the main event partner for this year’s Derby Property Summit.
“As a local company in our 100th year, our recent projects include Derby Arena, Moorways and Infinity Park, all of which have been important additions to the city.
“Our recently commenced work on the new Performance Venue at Becketwell is a real game-changer for the city and we look forward to continuing this important work into the future.”
Our thanks also go to brand partners AJS Structural Design, Willmott Dixon, Faithful+Gould and Lovell.
Derby-based consultancy AJS Structural Design offers civil and structural engineering design services for residential, commercial, retail and leisure sectors across the UK.
Its clients include developers, contractors, architects, project managers and homeowners.
Willmott Dixon is a King’s Award-winning onstruction and interior fit-out company.
Founded in 1852, the business, which remains family-run, is dedicated to leaving a positive legacy in our communities and environment.
Faithful+Gould is a world-leading integrated project and programme management consultancy, part of the SNC-Lavalin Group.
It is experienced in delivering all aspects of construction projects.
Lovell is a partnership housing expert and a leading provider of innovative residential construction and regeneration developments.
Among the key schemes it is involved in is the £100 million Castleward regeneration project in Derby.
Finally, for the first time ever, this year’s Derby Property Summit was held at Reach Events, with the catering provided by Butler’s Pantry.
Our thanks go to the Pride Park venue for providing the perfect setting for our annual showcase.
