Derby Launches First Book Festival
Derby's first ever book festival got off to a flying start last week with an exciting launch night that cleverly coincided with Shakespeare's 451st birthday and World Book Night.
Starting 31st May 2015, over 60 events across eight days will take place and have been beautifully laid out in a 46-page event programme designed by Bondholder Revolver Revolver. An amazing 15,000 copies in total have been printed and distributed across the city and county at libraries, arts venues, tourist offices and art boxes.

In addition, fellow Bondholders Codemakers and Derby QUAD worked together to ensure both Derby Book Festival's website and online booking systems launched on the same night.
In addition, Bondholder Status Social are providing social media coverage before and throughout the entire festival, and, so far, tweets have been seen 261,000 times!
Marketing Derby Bondholders can also attend free-of-charge An Audience with James Daunt, the managing director at Waterstones. Hosted by Bondholder University of Derby, James will talk about the future of bookshops and books themselves. Bondholders wishing to attend may book tickets for free via Lindsey Hatfield; anyone else can buy tickets for £8 via the festival box office at Derby QUAD.
