Bondholder Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) is building a new platform to enable its customers to self-service and interact with mortgage advisers within a secure online portal.

The portal is specifically designed to enhance the customer journey and means MAB can now nurture customers at every stage of their financial and homeowner journey. For example, when the time comes to remortgage or review a customer’s protection insurance for critical illness or life cover.

Dan Maunder, Chief Technology Officer at MAB, responsible for the developments declared: “Data is absolutely the most important element of our business and without it, we cannot properly understand how efficient our business is. MAB turns 20 this year, which means we’ll be sitting on 20 years’ worth of data allowing us to learn from it and constantly improve the customer experience within the new platform.”

Mortgage intermediary brand, MAB employs 205 staff from its Derby HQ, who support a network of 1,400 mortgage advisers nationwide.
