“Oven-ready” business support
Bondholders Loates HR and Dains Accountants have helped business owners potentially looking to sell their companies at their 'Oven-Ready Your Business’ event.
Held at fellow Bondholder The Cotton Shed at Darley Abbey Mills, the event targeted business owners and shareholders who are potentially looking to sell their business or step aside from its day-to-day running.
Co-hosting the event, Dains Accountants, Loates HR Consultancy and Simpsons Solicitors provided an overview on the perspectives of law, accountancy and HR.
Jenny Moore from Dains Accountants focused on getting ready to sell a business, valuations and exploring different options, while Sarah Loates from Loates HR Consultancy explored the 12 key steps that businesses should have in place to facilitate their business exit.
An ‘Ask the Expert’ panel discussion covered a wide variety of topics, before there was an opportunity for businesses to network.
The event also gave the stage to Bondholder Me & Dee founder Maria Hanson, who raffled off a brick for the charities 2020 Vision Sherwood Forest holiday home.
Jenny Moore, Dains Corporate Finance Director, said: “This was a great opportunity to speak to members of the Derby business community about the different factors they should consider if they are thinking of selling or stepping away from their business.
“The thought-provoking session brought together like-minded business professionals in a relaxed setting.”
