Bid writer shares top tips in webinar series

The boss of procurement specialist Ask the Chameleon has joined forces with eBay and Small Business Britain to share her top tips on how SMEs can secure grant funding.

Bid writer Rachel Hayward was invited to take part in a series of webinars called ‘eBay Elevate’, which were delivered by a range of experts and guest speakers from Small Business Britain’s community of small business owners.

Rachel led a 25-minute session to give attendees the knowledge and tools they need to uncover and win grant funding.

Over 300 small businesses and freelancers attended the online event, which included advice on where to find relevant grants, what information is required and how to make applications stand out.

Rachel said: “In an ever increasingly competitive world, there are certain steps small business owners can take to increase their chances of securing grant funding when it is released.

“It was my pleasure to join eBay and Small Business Britain to share some of my tips and suggestions so that we can see new businesses in a stronger position in the future.”
