Special dinner to mark King’s Coronation
Morley Hayes will be hosting a special celebration dinner dance this weekend to mark the King’s Coronation.
The hotel, restaurant and golf complex, in Main Road, Morley, will be hosting a black-tie dinner dance in its Pavilion Suite on Saturday to mark the auspicious occasion.
The theme will be ‘best of British’, with the Morley Hayes’ team of chefs serving up a three-course dinner, featuring local produce, followed by Derbyshire tea or Commonwealth coffee and Derbyshire chocolates.
A toast will be made to the newly crowned King with a glass of Highgrove English Sparkling Rosé from the King’s own estate.
Andrew Allsop, managing director of Morley Hayes, said: “Our black-tie dinner dance will be a fantastic way to mark the start of a new chapter in the history of the Monarchy.
“We’ll be celebrating the best of British throughout the evening with our delicious three course menu and wonderful local singer, Emily Rose.
“There will be a nod to King Charles too, with sparkling rosé wine from his Highgrove Estate in Gloucestershire.”
