Leonnie’s hard work rewarded

A newly-qualified solicitor at Timms Solicitors has been rewarded with a permanent position in the firm’s family law team.

University of Derby graduate Leonnie Watson first joined Timms in an administrative role to support the family law team in 2018.

Now, having qualified as a solicitor, she has joined the team on a permanent contract working alongside Adrian Rose and Jessica Barnett.

She will be based in the firm’s Swadlincote office helping clients with divorce, separation, children and financial matters.

Managing partner Fiona Moffat said: “Leonnie has shown a real commitment and passion for both the profession and her studies. She is committed to client care and genuinely wants to help people.

“We have always been committed to developing young people into the profession and then supporting them into management roles through such routes as training contracts and our innovative Pathway Programmes.

“Leonnie is the perfect example of how training contracts benefit both the individual and the employer.”
