Leading ladies shine at awards

Marketing Derby Bondholders were among the winners at this year’s Enterprising Women Awards, organised by East Midlands Chamber.

Recently held in Leicester, the awards celebrated and recognised the achievements of women across the region, as well as the 25th anniversary of the Enterprising Women network.

Among the winners was Karen Miles, of bus firm trentbarton, who was named Female Employee of the Year.

Ruby Birks, of Purpose Media, was named Apprentice of the Year, while Jessica Barnett, of Timms Solicitors, received the Rising Star Award.

In addition, Tracey Mosley, of EMA Training, was one of three finalists to be presented with a special recognition award by Enterprising Women co-chairs Jean Mountain and Eileen Perry.

Eileen said: “Congratulations to all the nominees and winners of this year’s Enterprising Women Awards.

“The gala dinner is always the biggest date in the calendar for the network, which Jean and I look forward to attending every year – and the breadth of female talent across the East Midlands business community just gets stronger.”
