Denby welcomes butchers to farm shop

Denby Pottery Village has welcomed the arrival of a family-run butchers to its farm shop.

The Greedy Pig Butchers is the latest name at the shopping village, which is situated next to Denby’s factory.

The business offers a wide selection of locally sourced meats, selling pork, beef and lamb reared by farmers in Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

Latimer Higham, master butcher at Greedy Pig Butchers, said: “We provide a large variety of flavoursome, deliciously tender meat perfect for any occasion.”

Butcher Joe Wilson, who is based at the Denby farm shop, said: “We are enjoying meeting customers at Denby Pottery Village and serving our quality meats, both reared and sourced locally.”
