Finalists revealed for the 2022 Marketing Derby Food and Drink Awards

The finalists have been revealed for this year’s Marketing Derby Food and Drink Awards.

After a phenomenal response to a call for nominations, of which over 3,000 were received, the judges have decided upon their shortlists for the annual celebration of the best places to eat and drink in the city.

The awards are made up of 12 categories, including the coveted Restaurant of the Year title.

The winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony, which is set to take place at The Chocolate Factory, on Monday 10 October.

John Forkin, managing director of Marketing Derby, said: “The Food and Drink Awards go from strength to strength, and we were delighted to receive over 3,000 nominations, making the shortlisting quite a challenge.

“I’m sure that the judges will have an interesting and fun time and we really look forward to the ceremony in October.”

Designed to shine a light on Derby’s brilliant food and drink businesses, the awards aim to recognise and celebrate the very best places to eat and drink across the city.

Nominations were received from members of the public, business leaders and food and drink establishment owners.

This year, the awards are backed by an enviable line-up of sponsors, including Denby Pottery, Derby College Group, Food4Thought, Edwardsz, Royal Crown Derby, University of Derby, OMEETO, Sky Recruitment Solutions, White Peak Distillery, Tioga and Balls2 Marketing.
