Major schemes shortlisted for prestigious property awards
Some major developments involving Marketing Derby Bondholders have been shortlisted for prestigious regional property awards.
The finalists for the East Midlands Property Dinner awards, organised by Insider Media, have been announced – and projects involving Bondholders feature heavily across the categories.
Derby City Council’s £42 million Moorways Sports Village, which opened earlier this year, is up for two awards – the Design Excellence Award and Construction Project of the Year.
The project was led by construction giant Bowmer & Kirkland.

“This year’s East Midlands Property Dinner promises to be a fantastic celebration of this region’s abundance of enterprise, skill and innovation within the property sector.”
Joining Moorways in the Construction Project of the Year category is another scheme involving the city council, which took place at Bemrose School, in Derby.
The Bemrose School project is also up for the Regeneration and Restoration Project of the Year award.
Elsewhere, Geldards is shortlisted for Client Adviser of the Year.
The law firm is also part of a team shortlisted in the Property Deal of the Year category, which involved a £100 million deal between Clowes Developments and NFU Mutual to deliver six logistics facilities.
Also vying for the Property Deal of the Year title is a team made up of St James Securities, Rigby & Co, Derby City Council and ASM Global, for securing the £45.8 million performance venue as part of Phase 2 of the £200 million Becketwell regeneration scheme.
St James Securities, which is delivering Becketwell, is also shortlisted for Developer of the Year.
