Beauty firm opens Dubai-inspired medi-spa

Beauty business Neo Elegance has announced the opening of a Dubai-inspired medical spa in Derby.

The firm, which is known in the beauty industry for its innovative LED light therapy devices, has launched the Neo Elegance Medi-Spa & Skin Clinic, in Vernon Street, following an investment of more than £80,000.

According to the firm, the venue aims to offer a wellness programme combined with aesthetic expertise, delivered within an “exciting” ambience.

The clinic covers all treatments under one roof, from facials and massages to medical pedicures and body treatments.

Farzila Allarakha, an aesthetician at the firm, said: “I noticed an alarming increase in acne, ageing and inflammation in clients’ skin post-lockdown.

“I worked to help a lot of NHS workers who had developed ‘Maskne’ from working long hours in PPE for many months, which led to our NHS Skin Recovery Programme.

“Our signature Neo Elegance LED light therapy works by being incorporated into bespoke facials to kill bacteria while healing both scarred and damaged skin.”
