Charity appoints new managing director

Christian charity Derby City Mission has announced the appointment of a new managing director.

Elle Warrener-Davis, who brings substantial experience, drawn from both commerce and the public sector, as well as the charity sector, is set to take up the post from 27 June.

Most recently she has been a senior leader at Burton YMCA.

Nigel Town, chair of DCM’s trustees, said: “I am delighted that Elle has stepped forward for this new role.

“Her experience in operational and financial matters crucial to our work will make her an invaluable addition to our team.”

Elle said: “Ever since I began working in the charity sector, I have been passionate about growing and developing organisations to benefit individuals and communities.

“DCM’s mission of ‘Transforming Lives Together’ expresses so well my own heart for walking alongside people, wherever they are in life, and opening up opportunity.

“I have also strived to champion fairness and equality wherever I have worked.”
