Law firm strengthens corporate team
Law firm Flint Bishop has strengthened its corporate team with the appointment of a new corporate finance partner.
Joel Nixon has a wealth of experience advising clients in the private, third and public sector across a variety of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations, and joint ventures, as well as commercial contracting and projects.
He has a notable specialism in the health and social care sector; in particular, acting for a range of operators across residential care, supported living, domiciliary care, health tech, dental, pharmacy, ophthalmology and physiotherapy.
Joel is the eighth partner appointment Flint Bishop has made in the Midlands over the last 12 months, and the third lateral hire into the corporate finance team that has been put in place to serve the region.
He said: “I’m delighted to be joining Flint Bishop at an exciting period of growth.
“I am really looking forward to playing my part in the project in such a competitive region, coupled with the ambitious plans of the firm moving forward more generally, and cannot wait to get started.”
Martyn Brierley, head of corporate finance at Flint Bishop said: “Joel will be instrumental in establishing and growing our mergers and acquisitions capability and further developing our commercial presence in the Midlands.”
