Staff at Document Network Services have raised thousands of pounds for me&dee from a gruelling physical challenge held as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.

Throughout April, staff at the firm, which is based on Pride Park, have been collectively running, swimming, cycling, jogging and walking 2,500km to raise cash for the charity.

Me&dee, founded by Maria Hanson, helps youngsters who face life-changing, life-shortening or terminal conditions, and their families create special memories.

Over the years, DNS has been avid supporters of the charity – and from it 2,500km challenge it raised £3,172 for the cause.

The charity said: “We are absolutely blown away by the incredible support, along with DNS’s friendship and care.

“DNS are incredible memory makers, making a difference for families facing short and uncertain futures.

“They are absolutely amazing people and have given a fantastic donation, which enables our families to make some wonderful memories and create big smiles.”
