Derby College Group has announced the reopening to the public of the plant centre at its Broomfield Hall campus.

The centre, at the Morley site, is now open every day 10am to 4pm, including bank holidays, stocking a range of plants grown by the students.

Seasonal bedding and vegetable plants, as well as alpines and border perennials, are all available to buy.

Manager David Harris said: “We are delighted to be back open to the public having spent most of the majority of the past year just taking orders from staff.

“The plant centre is well spaced with a clearly-marked one way system to enable safe social distancing.

“We ask that everyone wears face coverings throughout their visit and make use the hand sanitiser stations.

“We are also only taking card payments for the additional safety of our staff, students and customers.”
