Firms help hospice roll out new branding

Treetops Hospice has unveiled its new branding – made possible thanks to support from businesses, including MX Display.

The Risley-based hospice decided to update its branding following a survey of around 300 of its supporters.

The responses suggested that the brand needed a refresh as it no longer reflected the progressive care that the charity had been offering its community throughout the pandemic.

Now, thanks to the generosity of its business supporters, the hospice has unveiled a fresh, new brand and logo.

Chief executive Julie Heath said: “It’s widely accepted that people are more likely to donate to a strong brand but we couldn’t justify the spend, especially on big things like the design and the shop signs.

“Then some wonderful businesses stepped in to help.”

Among the businesses who have come forward to help is Derby signage firm MX Display, which has offered to replace all of Treetops’ charity shop fascias free of charge.

The firm recently helped enhance the hospice’s wellbeing space and counselling centre with attractive murals and designs for patients to enjoy.

Tim Pugh, client services director at MX Display, said: “We’re proud to support Treetops – it’s an amazing charity and they do so much to support our community.

“Their new brand really reflects the professional care they give and we hope it helps them attract more help from local people and businesses.”
