Derbion unveils shopping centre's new interior signage
Derbion has completed installing new interior signage following the shopping centre’s name change.
In January, it was revealed that the former intu Derby shopping centre would be rebranded to Derbion.
The centre has been under new management ever since real estate investment and finance firm Cale Street consolidated its ownership of the property.
According to its management, the new name not only reflects the centre’s geographical location, but also “a sense of motion, inspired by Derby’s history of ingenuity and innovation, coupled with an ambition to continually move forward and evolve”.
Now, new signage has been unveiled throughout Derbion, with exterior signage set to be installed in early summer.
Opened in 2007, the shopping centre attracts more than 21 million visitors a year, offering an extensive range of shops, eateries and entertainment, under one roof.
Its flagship brands include M&S, Zara, Next and H&M, with recent additions to the centre including Hugo Boss, Whistles and Hobbs.
Going forward, Derbion aims to introduce a host of new experiences across shopping, food and leisure.
Adam Tamsett, general manager at Derbion, said: “We’re really excited to unveil our brand-new interior signage, which is visible throughout the centre in key locations such as our entrances, exits and car parks.
“Our new name and changes to our signage are just the beginning of a programme of investment we have planned for Derbion.
“Our new identity gives us an opportunity to build on our existing offer, creating new, exciting experiences for visitors to enjoy in the heart of the city.
“We look forward to announcing more details very soon.”
