Cleaning firm is latest arrival at College Business Centre
Staton Young has welcomed another new tenant to one of its Derby business centres.
Imperial Cleaning has become the latest firm to take space at its College Business Centre site, in Uttoxeter New Road.
The centre, which has on-site parking, is home to 50 offices, ranging in size from 400 sq ft to 800 sq ft.
The letting to Imperial comes after Staton Young reported that its Litchurch Plaza site was now full, with potential occupants being put on a waiting list.
At the College Business Centre, just three offices remain available to let.
According to Staton Young, since Covid-19 hit many businesses are now looking for short-term leases with more flexibility, which is something the firm can offer.
Imperial Cleaning, which was founded in 2019, is a commercial cleaning company, providing new build, end of tenancy, office and retail cleaning to firms across the East Midlands.
The company operated from a home office before moving to the College Business Centre.
Imperial was helped in its search for premises by Amy Burton, inward investment executive at Marketing Derby, who introduced the company to Staton Young.
Francesca Coulson, from Imperial, said: “We looked at numerous office spaces and were so impressed with the offices at the College Business Centre.
“The building itself is beautiful and the location is perfect, being close to the city centre and with access to the major routes out of Derby.
“There is also ample parking, without an extra charge, which wasn’t offered at other offices we looked at.
“The move into offices will allow us to grow and we’re currently looking at employing more staff to assist with both admin and marketing.
“We look forward to expanding further and hopefully moving to larger offices within the building.”
