Firm set to clean up after contract win
Commercial cleaning services firm CleanAbuild is celebrating after landing a contract with Wavensmere Homes – the company behind Derby’s Nightingale Quarter scheme.
The Derby company, which is run by Sue Hough and Louise Renshaw, has been awarded the deal to clean the new homes being built by Wavensmere Homes on the former Derbyshire Royal Infirmary site.
CleanAbuild had been working with Lambe Construction since June, cleaning its welfare facilities against Covid-19 at various sites, including the Nightingale Quarter development.
During this time, the business built up a good working relationship with the Wavensmere Homes project managers. When the contact came up for the cleaning of the new housing development, CleanAbuild was invited to tender.
In a joint statement, Sue and Louise said: “We were delighted when we received the call that we had won the contract! We soon started on site and the houses are a dream to work on as they are finished to a high standard.
“As local girls, it is such an exciting project to be involved in and to see the site evolve.”
