FHP secures letting to charity
FHP Property Consultants has revealed it has secured the letting of a warehouse facility in Derby to a local charity.
Acting on behalf of private clients, Darran Severn, from FHP, has let the 2,873 sq ft unit in Newmarket Court, off Ascot Drive, to Community Action Derby.
Darran said: “I’m pleased to say the industrial/warehouse market remains positively active.
“2020 was an interesting year but despite the challenges we all faced this sector remained resilient and I am delighted this momentum has continued in to 2021.
“This was not a straightforward letting whereby we were instructed by the existing leaseholder who no longer required the property.
“We were able to agree a simultaneous lease surrender alongside the granting of a new lease.
“This resulted in an excellent scenario for all parties involved. Ascot Drive continues to be a sought-after location and that enabled us to put this unit under offer very quickly.”
